Why We Carry This
Most Riviera fragrances reach for citrus and sea spray. Cap Camarat builds the coast out of ylang, vanilla and warm resins instead, which is why it still holds after sunset when the fresh ones have gone.
Character
Accords: Vanilla, Floral, Fruity, Sweet, Woody, Balsamic
Perfumer: Nadège Le Garlantezec
Cap Camarat is the lighthouse on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, and Le Garlantezec reads it as a warm place rather than a wet one. Pink peppercorn and a watery apple open bright and faintly salty. The heart is ylang-ylang and sambac jasmine folded into vanilla absolute, creamy without tipping into dessert. Sandalwood, amyris and benzoin carry the drydown, with patchouli and labdanum keeping it from going soft. It smells like sun on skin at the end of a long afternoon.
