Inle Lake in Myanmar sits in a mountain valley at altitude, its mist carrying the scent of water and wood rather than salt. Massenet captures this damp, forested quality through petitgrain and grapefruit in the opening, then builds a floral heart where ylang-ylang gives the iris and jasmine a tropical weight that the cool opening does not prepare you for.
