Why We Carry This
Montale built its reputation on oud, and Aoud Lagoon represents the house at its most architecturally interesting: the contrast between marine freshness and deep resinous oud. Pierre Montale rarely cedes the oud to anything lighter, which makes this one worth the shelf space.

The sea and the oud do not typically share space, but Aoud Lagoon makes a case for the meeting. Bergamot and sea notes open with a saline brightness that feels genuinely coastal before the oud moves in, not as a dominant force but as a dark thread running through the iris and rose heart. Violet softens the transition. The base resolves into a warm amber-sandalwood finish where the marine quality fades and the oud holds, dry and quiet, for hours after application.
