Arabians Musk keeps the spice register restrained, cardamom present but not driving, so the bergamot opening stays cleaner than many of Montale's heavier Arabians releases. Rose and violet in the heart have a powdery quality that the musk base eventually amplifies, the drydown becoming progressively softer and more skin-like as benzoin and sandalwood warm the composition. What this does well is the transition from the moderately spiced opening to a musk finish that is genuinely intimate rather than loud.

Why We Carry This

Not every Montale needs to announce itself across a room. Arabians Musk is the house's skin-close oriental, the one where the amber-musk-benzoin base is the destination rather than the support structure. It fills a different position in the lineup than the louder Arabians releases.
