Ani X takes the Ani construction and amplifies its most distinctive element: the violet-iris accord is more prominent, the ambergris more assertive, and the overall projection is considerably more generous than the original allows. Pineapple and bergamot in the opening give the violety-iris heart a fruity brightness that keeps the powdery notes from becoming heavy, and sandalwood with cedar close with a clean, warm woodiness that the X concentration earns through its longevity.
