The aldehydes in the opening give Eragon an unexpected crispness for a woody aromatic, lemon and bergamot riding on top before pepper and labdanum deepen the heart. Patchouli sits in the middle register, earthier than sweet. Sandalwood and vetiver take over the base gradually and stay put.
