Named for the cigar, not the city's nickname, and it smells the part: raspberry and blackcurrant up top give it a dark, almost boozy sweetness before coffee and tobacco settle in and take the wheel. Cardamom and pepper add grip, rose shows up briefly and unexpectedly in the middle, more shadow than flower.

The base is where it earns its extrait strength, vanilla and tonka going thick and sweet against patchouli and oud, tobacco leaf smoldering underneath the whole thing for hours. It smells like a cigar lounge remembered fondly rather than recreated literally.
