Danger Pour Homme
Danger Pour Homme opens with lavender and bergamot, tarragon adding a herbal sharpness that distinguishes the opening from the classic fougere tradition it references. Roja himself built this on the foundations of mid-century masculine perfumery, and the violet-jasmine heart carries that inheritance without merely reproducing it. Cumin in the base is the element that elevates: giving the leather-oakmoss foundation a warmth and slight animalic quality that classical fougeres rarely achieved. Ambergris and tonka bean extend the drydown into a warmth that is authoritative and lasting.
Why We Carry This
Roja Dove built his reputation on the argument that masculine perfumery was systematically underserved by the mainstream, and Danger Pour Homme is the proof. The oakmoss-leather-cumin base is classical perfumery materials at luxury concentration, and the result is a fougere that earns the Parfums designation through material quality rather than mere complexity.
