Hypnotizing Fire
Pimento, cloves, and peppertree in the opening of Hypnotizing Fire create a spice accord of genuine density, the three materials reinforcing each other's warmth in a way that reads less like a blend and more like a single, complex spice note. Bulgarian rose arrives in the heart with enough warmth to hold against that opening, patchouli adding earthen depth beneath it. Praline introduces a sweetness in the mid-stage that the base expands: opoponax and benzoin are both warm resins, and with vanilla they give the drydown an almost incense-like sweetness that holds for a remarkable length of time.
Why We Carry This
The Harmonist's Five Elements philosophy grounds Hypnotizing Fire in Fire, and the spice-resin construction delivers on that framing with unusual directness. The pimento-clove opening and the opoponax-benzoin base are both quality materials that give the composition genuine staying power and depth.
