Dolce Amalfi
Dolce Amalfi captures a specific geography: the Amalfi coast in high summer, where lemon trees grow above the sea and the air carries their sweetness inland. The citrus opening, lemon, mandarin, bergamot, orange, is genuinely bright and diffuse rather than sharp, neroli threading through to add a floral note to what is otherwise a clean citrus accord. Jasmine and rose in the heart give the composition a Mediterranean warmth, and sandalwood with white musk in the base provides the soft, skin-close finish that good citrus orientals use to outlast their opening.
Why We Carry This
The Casamorati aesthetic is built on Italian craft and historical references, and Dolce Amalfi is the most directly geographic of the line's releases. The quality of the citrus opening is what justifies the Xerjoff price point: this lemon note does not have the chemical sharpness of the synthetic alternatives. The neroli bridge is well-placed.
